Dos and Don’ts of Wearing Pink Ties – Be Sensitive in the Occasion’s Need
Wearing pink ties can either build or destroy your image. Most men stay away from wearing pink since they are not sure where to wear it and how. One way of determining whether you wear it in the right place or not is to know exactly the dress code requirement of the occasion. By considering this wearing ties in lovely pink color will not bother you anymore.
Typically, there are three basic types of occasion; the formal, semi-formal and informal occasions. In formal occasions not all pink ties are acceptable. The patterns and the shade of the color depend on its suitability for the formal event. Black tie events are not accepting the pink ties although the burgundy is accepted in some instances. Try to prevent any misplacement of yourself in a very formal party, don’t wear ties in pink. Although there events too that are considered formal where pink is advisable to wear. These events are the weddings and birthday parties depending on the requirement of the event.
Semi-formal occasions, on the other hand, have a wider scope of events where you can wear your ties in pink. They are very much accepted in semi-formal events such as social gatherings and business meetings with associates and in job interviews. As much as possible wear pink ties in lighter shade and if you choose to wear it in a pattern choose a design that is minimal in nature. There are fine stripes and small dotted ties which are very elegant and effective in making you look great in all aspect.
The last type of occasion is the informal. Here your wearing of different type of pink ties has no boundary. You can wear any type of patterns; even the most disturbing design is acceptable. Parties in this category are those parties usually by teens where fashion statements for them are very hippy and trendy. The ties are more of accessories in presenting their personalities rather than in making the ties part of formal attires. Various designs in big polka dots, animal and flower prints, loud abstracts and pictures of your favorite cartoon characters are all acceptable as long as you are comfortable of wearing it and it shows your personality then you are free to do so.
Pink ties are as lovely as their color. You should wear them in appropriate occasions to keep your reputation and in order to get back the respect you have shown.
